The structure of the IELTS exam
The IELTS language test consists of four main sections:
- Reading
- Listening
- Writing
- Speaking
The test lasts about 180 minutes (3 hours): the written parts (Reading, Listening, Writing) take 2 hours and 40 minutes, and the oral part (Speaking) takes 11-14 minutes.
As a rule, the written sections are handed over immediately, one after the other, and the oral part can be assigned +- 7 days before or after that day (more often it is +- 3 days). However, it is possible to take Speaking on the same day: it all depends on the test center you choose.
After successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate.
