The University of Tasmania was founded in 1890 and is Australia's fourth oldest university. The University's national and international reputation is reflected by its top-10 standing as a recipient of research funding in Australia, and reaffirms its place in the top 2 per cent of research institutions in the world. The University is ranked 201-300th according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities in 2020.
UP Education partners with the university to deliver a range of bridging programs to enable international students to pathway from their home country into an undergraduate degree. University of Tasmania International Pathway College is where these programs are delivered and is based at the Sandy Bay Campus in Hobart, Tasmania.
