The University of Southampton is a research university in Southampton, England. The university has seven teaching campuses. The main campus is located in the Highfield area of Southampton and is supplemented by four other campuses within the city. Southampton is a founding member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities in Britain.The University of Southampton is the largest university by higher education students in the South East region. It’s ranked 5th in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, with 1st place for Physiotherapy and 14 more subjects in the top 10.On successful completion of one of the undergraduate or master’s foundation programmes, international students have the opportunity to progress to a range of innovative programmes at the University of Southampton.
